「アルバハリ作品がセルビア国内外で注目される理由を明らかにする、その中でも彼の文学のポストモダン性を追究することでユーゴスラヴィア/セルビアの文学史での位置づけをも明らかにする」という目標のために、アルバハリの作品の分析し、翻訳を進めながら理解を深めた。以下、内訳となる。1)『雪の男』、『ママッツ』の分析 : アルバハリ作品が持つ特徴である「ポストモダン性」を明らかにするため、彼の作品を全て読み直し再考した。重要部分は翻訳を行った。その上で『雪の男』『ママッツ』がいかに特徴的であるか、分析を進めた。2)両作品の翻訳 : 翻訳は『雪の男』は完成、『ママッツ』はラスト数十頁を残すのみである。出版に興味を持つ編集者とのやりとりは続いており、内容チェックを相互間で行っている。また、短編翻訳に関してエージェントとの交渉は半ばとなっている。3)フィールドワーク : 予定していたフィールドワークは、諸事情により長期間日本を離れられることが不可能であったため延期した。作家とのメールのやりとりは続けており、翻訳に重要な情報は随時メールで問い合わせている。また、資料調査と収集は進み、セルビア語の資料は主として現地在住のマリッチ氏、日本在住のミシュコヴィッチ氏の協力を得ることで集めることが可能となった。4)論文発表 : 『アリーナ』に発表した「ダヴィド・アルバハリ作品ガイド」は全作品を網羅し、重要な作品はキーワードと翻訳を載せ、踏み込んだ分析も加えている。また、とりわけ重要なのはテンブックスより刊行された書籍『いま、世界で読まれている105冊2013』に寄稿したアルバハリの作品『ママッツ』に関する記事である。これは、作家の凝縮された紹介文と『ママッツ』のエッセンスが詰まった文章であり、今後の翻訳出版に向けた宣伝にもなり得る成果となった。
