2012年度にまず特筆すべきことは、博士論文を執筆したことである。研究会各所には2012年度中に過程博士論文を提出することを計画していたが、計画通り、2012年5月に指導教官から許可を得て、2012年12月に所属大学・所属研究科の規定に従って課程博士論文を提出した。その後、主査・副査の都合上、口頭試問は2013年4月に行われた。2013年6月後半から7月前半の研究科会議で審査結果が報告される予定である。博士論文を執筆する傍ら、学会での口頭報告を行い、また投稿論文を執筆した。学会での口頭報告は4件(そのうち2件が国内、2件が国外)、2012年度内に掲載された論文は1本(書評論文)ある62013年4月30日現在、『ソシオロジ』と『社会学評論』から掲載決定の連絡を受けた論文がそれぞれ1本ずつあり、さらに現在『社会と調査』に投稿し、査読中の論文が1本ある。学会での口頭報告に関しては、2012年4月にはEuropean Social Science History Association大会(於イギリス、グラスゴー大学)において、2012年8月にはInternational Sociological Association Second Forum of Sociology(於アルゼンチン、ブエノスアイレス大学)において、2012年11月には日本社会学会第85回大会において口頭報告を行うなど、ほぼ3か月おきにこれまでの研究成果を歴史学・社会学・移民政策といった分野で報告を行った。どの報告に関しても関連分野の研究者から有益なコメントをもらい、2013年度以後につながる人間関係を築いた。その結果として、報告者は2014年7月に開催されるInternational Sociological Associationの世界大会において、研究委員会第38部会(Research Committee 38 : Biography and Society)と第31部会(Research Committee 31 : Sociology of Migration)との合同セッションをコーディネイトすることになった(6月1日からInternational Sociological Associationのウェブサイト上で発表者募集が開始される)。

In 2012, he wrote his doctoral thesis. Each institute of the institute submitted a doctoral thesis in the middle of the 2012 academic year. The project was approved by the instructor in May 2012. The doctoral thesis was submitted in December 2012 according to the regulations of the affiliated university and affiliated research department. After the examination, the main examination and the deputy examination were all closed, and the oral examination was conducted in April 2013. The results of the review were reported at the research conference held in the second half of June and the first half of July 2013. Ph.D. thesis writing, oral presentation, and thesis writing 4 oral reports (2 in China and 2 abroad), 1 published paper in fiscal 2012 (book review paper), 6 April 30, 2013, 1 published paper in Social Research, 1 published paper in Social Research. The Society's oral presentation was held at the European Social Science History Association Conference in April 2012. International Sociological Association Second Forum of Sociology, August 2012 The 85th General Assembly of the Society of Japan was held in November 2012. Oral presentation was made in March 2012. Research results were presented in History, Sociology and Immigration Policy. The report is related to the division of researchers, and the relationship between them will be built after 2013. The results were presented at the 38th session of the International Sociological Association's World Congress, held in July 2014.(Research Committee 38 : Biography and Society)(Research Committee 31 : Sociology of Migration) The contract for the development of new projects (June 1, 2011) was launched by the International Sociological Association.
