I found that apoptotic cells released AMP via caspase cleaved-panx1 channel.Furthermore, I revealed that released AMP was converted to adenosine by CD73 on macrophages and, in turn, transduced the immunosuppressive signal to macrophages via adenosine A2 receptors.
