The neural basis of maternal behavior for her child with autism spectrum disoeder

在本研究中，母亲的大脑活动，谁有一个典型的发展中的孩子，在观看她自己的孩子吃零食，通过使用功能性磁共振成像测量。采用社会反应性量表（SRS）和父母压力指数（PSI）分别评定其社会反应性和父母压力，并分析其与脑活动的相关性。因此，母亲的父母压力与照顾孩子的动机有关的大脑区域相关。研究结果为支持母亲的育儿提供了有益的科学依据。

In the present study, brain activity of the mothers, who have a typically developing child, were measured during viewing her own child eating snacks by using functional magnetic resonance imaging. Additionally, their social responsiveness and parental stress were evaluated by using SRS (social responsiveness scale) and PSI (parental stress index) respectively, and the correlations between these scores and the brain activity were examined. As a result, the parental stress of mothers correlated with the brain regions involved in motivation for child care. The result provides useful scientific evidence for supporting mothers' child care.
