项目摘要

本年度は、データ収集を目的として、フィールドワークを中心に行った。徳島県は勿論、隣県の香川県(島嶼部も含む)、また、山梨県・長野県・岐阜県・石川県・富山県・福岡県・佐賀県・鹿児島県(奄美大島)でも方言音声の収録を行った。●体系記述的研究「徳島県下に存在する京阪式・讃岐式・垂井式・山城谷式・出合式など様々な異体系アクセントの現在の体系を記述し、把握する」という目標に対して、京阪式・讃岐式・垂井式の体系記述及び比較分析を行った。成果物として2点の論文がある。一つは徳島県旧東祖谷山村に存在する垂井式アクセント(C型)について体系記述報告を行ったものである。もう一つは京阪系アクセント地域で今現在進行中のアクセント変化を、隣接する異体系アクセントの変化の状況も踏まえて記述したものである。これは日本学術会議傘下の学会誌である『音声研究』に掲載された。●統計的手法による研究「体系記述的研究によって得られた徳島県下のアクセントデータを用いて統計的処理を行う。多変量解析やSOM分析を使ってアクセント区画を再構築する。」という目標に対して、徳島県を東西に流れる吉野川流域を対象に、統計的分析を試みた。成果物として1点の論文がある。これはコレスポンデンス分析とクラスター分析を用いて、京阪式アクセントと讃岐式アクセントの境界がどこにあるのかを統計的に分析したものである。従来の主観的な分類に寄らず、境界地帯を客観的に区画出来た点に、先行研究にはないオリジナリティと意義がある。これは日本学術会議傘下の学会誌である『文理シナジー』に掲載された。
