项目摘要

最終年度となる平成26年度は、前年度に引き続きフランス・パリ第4大学教授Jean-Claude Cheynet氏の指導の下で研究を実施した。まず後期帝国における一部の皇帝文書の年代確定と発給プロセスを検討する過程で得られた知見を英語でまとめたうえで米国の専門学術誌に投稿し、掲載が決定した。前年夏にギリシャのミストラス遺跡で行った調査に基づき、同地のブロントヒオン修道院の聖堂内壁に描かれた皇帝文書に関する既存の翻刻の問題点を修正し、各々の原本の年代を確定したほか、同地にそれら皇帝文書が描かれたコンテクストについて、受給者側の利害に即した文書のユニークな利用形態があったとの仮説を提示した。本研究は11月に東京大学で開催された史学会第112回大会で報告したほか、平成27年中にフランスのDe Boccard社より刊行される予定の論文集にて活字化される。7月から8月にかけてはトルコ共和国のトロス司教座聖堂への発掘に参加する機会を得、同地で出土した貨幣および封緘の翻刻と検討を行った。また叙述史料中に現れる文書利用の用例調査も引き続き進めており、その成果の一部を共著にて発表した。以上の個別的検討と並行して、本研究の核となる皇帝文書史料について1204年から1328年までの伝来文書すべての読解・データベース化を終え、当該時期における文書利用のあり方について包括的な検討を開始している。また研究を進める過程で、フランス国立図書館に保管されるビザンツ皇帝文書の様式集の存在に気付いた。この様式集はおそらく14世紀のもので、役人の任命などを旨とする20弱の皇帝文書の雛形からなっており、伝来文書との比較検討によって当時の皇帝文書局の活動に一層迫ることができると考える。これを検討対象に組み入れた上で、ビザンツ帝国後期における皇帝発給文書の伝来・形式・機能について博士論文をまとめる予定である。

The research was conducted under the guidance of Professor Jean-Claude Cheynet of the 4th University. In the late imperial period, a part of the emperor's documents was dated and published in the academic records of the United States. In the summer of the previous year, the investigation of the relics of the ancient times was carried out on the basis of the investigation of the ancient times. In July and August, the Republic of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened an opportunity to participate in the discovery of currency and seals. This study examines the historical data of imperial documents from 1204 to 1328 and concludes the study of the use of imperial documents in this period. In the process of research and development, the National Library of China keeps the records of the emperor's documents. This kind of document collection is related to the 14th century, the appointment of officials, the purpose of the 20th century, the embryonic form of the emperor's documents, the comparative study of the activities of the emperor's documents bureau at that time, and the first layer of pressure. In the later period of the empire, the emperor sent documents to the emperor, and the form and function of the doctoral thesis were determined.
