项目摘要

当該年度は, 学術振興会特別研究員の最終年度であり、主に研究成果の報告を行った。昨年度の成果を含めた内容は、日本心理学会の小講演にて発表され、国内の研究者と意見交換した。小講演では、1. 関係焦点型コーピングは, 先行研究が対象としてきた疾病を抱える夫婦のストレスに限定されず, 夫婦げんかや仕事と家庭の両立困難など, より一般的な夫婦間ストレス場面に適応可能な概念である, 2. 発生した夫婦間ストレス場面の収束には積極的な話し合いが有効であり, ストレス場面の予防には自分が我慢することや相手との距離を置くコーピングが有効であること, 3. ポジティブなスピルオーバーは, 相手と積極的に話し合うなどの適応的なコーピングにつながることを報告した。また、夫婦ペアデータを統計的に再分析し、関係焦点型コーピングの使用が本人に与える影響(本人効果)とその配偶者に与える影響(配偶者効果)を検証した。本人効果としては、積極的な関係維持は、行う本人の精神的健康度や結婚満足度の高さにつながり、回避的関係維持は行う本人の結婚満足度の低さとつながっていた。調査としては, 専業主婦5組を対象に夫婦合同面接(ジョイント・インタビュー)をおこない, ストレスと対処のパターンをまとめた。結果、ストレス場面の深刻度や解決可能性が、関係焦点型コーピングの有効性に影響することが示された。また、共働き夫婦と専業主婦家庭の違いとして、家事と家庭内の役割分担(妻が家事育児に専念するか、妻がフルタイムで働いているか)がストレス場面に影響することが見受けられた。この内容に関しては、昨年度までの共働き夫婦の夫婦同時面接のデータとあわせ、今後、論文投稿していく予定である。個人内にとどまらず, 職場との関係, 及び配偶者との関係でストレスとコーピングを捉えなおした点が本研究の意義である。
