Reconsideration of criminal statute of limitations reform in 2004 and 2010.

在过去十年中，严重犯罪的诉讼时效一直是争议的主题。在本研究中，我首先考察了2004年和2010年改革法案的支持者，以证明即使是废除限制的支持者也不会否认处理证据缺失或丢失问题的必要性。在此认识的基础上，跟踪美国关于证据丢失问题的法律讨论，并分析用于解决这一问题的各种工具。在这样做的过程中，我得到了一个关于日本解决方案的建议。

Over the last decade, the statute of limitations for serious offenses has been the subject of controversy. In this research, I first examine the proponents of the reform act of 2004 and 2010, to demonstarate that even proponents of the abolition of the limitations will not deny the need for dealing with the problem of missing or lost evidence. Based on this recognition, follow the legal discussions in the United States about the lost evidence problem, and analyze the variety of tools employed to address this problem. In doing so I get a suggestion about the solution in Japan.
