To investigate the possibility of procalcitonin as a prognostic index of SIRS and a target for blood purification therapy in dogs, a measuring system for canine procalcitonin using ELISA has been established. A recombinant canine procalcitonin protein and polyclonal antibodies were obtained by cloning canine procalcitonin gene cDNA. These antibodies specifically recognized canine procalcitonin and was able to detect canine procalcitonin by ELISA.
为了探讨降钙素原作为犬SIRS预后指标和血液净化治疗靶点的可能性，建立了犬降钙素原ELISA检测系统。通过克隆犬降钙素原基因cDNA，获得了重组犬降钙素原蛋白和多克隆抗体。这些抗体特异性识别犬降钙素原，并能通过ELISA检测犬降钙素原。
