平成27年度までで generic な距離正則グラフと「非対称」q-Racah 直交多項式に関する研究を一段落させることができた。Lee 氏の東北大学への滞在という意味での平成28年度の研究計画期間は8月中旬までの5ヶ月弱であり、まず今後の課題を整理・検討し、研究期間終了後も継続して取り組んでいくための準備を行うこと、さらに q-Racah 多項式の退化の一種である q-Krawtchouk 直交多項式、及びそれに対応する距離正則グラフである双対極グラフの場合について、これまでの研究と同様の考察を行うことの二つを目標とした。後者は、距離正則グラフと直交多項式系の関係を述べた Leonard の定理の「非対称版」の確立を目指すプロジェクトに於ける、一つの重要なステップと位置付けられる課題である。双対極グラフは非常に良い性質を持っており、この課題の組合せ的な議論は generic な場合と比較して容易かつ簡明であるが、一方表現論的な部分については、generic な場合に取り扱ったダブルアフィンヘッケ環 (DAHA) ではなく、Cherednik と Orr により近年導入された「nil-DAHA」が該当することを、Lee 氏と私は研究期間の終了に近い時期に認識した。Lee 氏の離日後も共同研究を進め、最終的にこれらの考察を定式化することに成功した。この成果については現在論文を準備中であり、近日中に公開する計画である。また、平成29年7月にロンドンで開催される代数的組合せ論関係の国際研究集会に於いて Lee 氏がポスター発表を行う予定となっている。

In July 1979, Lee's Theory of Combinatorial Relations was published.
