项目摘要

１、子どもの想像力及び民俗の想像力の事例調査「児童の言語生態研究会」(以下「児言態」)の想像力教育の実践記録及び、2003年以降11年間に渡る共同研究授業の記録を省察した。特に2007年の俳句の授業において「雲の峯」を季語とした際に児童らの俳句の質が飛躍的に伸びたことに着目し、児童らの俳句と江戸時代以降の俳人らによる同季語の俳句を比較考察して、両者の想像世界に多分な共通性を認めた。古くから人々の想像力を喚起してきた具象またそれを指す言葉には子どもの想像力を喚起する力があること、それによって喚起される想像世界は通性を持つこと、そのために子どもたちの中に個を超える繋がりの実感をもたらすことが明らかになった。また「児言態」の主宰・上原輝男の心意伝承研究(伝承的・共同的な想像力や想像世界の研究)の文献調査を行った。さらに、上原が研究対象としていた歌舞伎や民俗行事の現地調査を実施した。２、想像力の教材開発・授業作り／３、授業の実施と質的考察学習指導要領における想像力観、想像力の授業に関する先行研究を考察し、従来の国語科には想像力の発達観や教育観、想像力の通性や自律性を捉える視点が欠落していることを明らかにした。その上で「児言態」の想像力観を考察し、従来の国語科に欠落していた視点を持つことを認めた。また「児言態」との共同研究により花岡大学の「左の手」を教材化し、６年生を対象に研究授業を実施した。「左の手」の主人公は、事故で左手を失いながらも、想像としての左手を実感し大切にすることによって、肉体としての左手の喪失による困難を生き抜こうとする。その主人公に同化しまた対峙することを通して、現実の困難を想像力によって突破することを学習する授業となった。さらに、以上の成果の発展として、心意伝承研究の成果を想像力育成のための国語教育実践へと応用する理論と方法について事例的考察を行った。
