项目摘要

本年度は前年度の研究結果（トルコ語には4つの音韻論的な語種が存在すること、並びに、現代ウイグル語では3つの音韻論的な語種が存在することを明らかにした）を踏まえつつ、研究を進めた。そしてトルコ語と現代ウイグル語それぞれの、（音韻論的に見た）レキシコンの構造がどのようになっているのかを明らかにした。Ito and Mester (1995) では、日本語を対象とし、音韻論的な語種は心的辞書において、同心円状の階層構造（「核と周辺」構造）を成していると主張している。この階層では中心に位置する語種に当該言語の全ての制約、規則が適用され、中心から離れた位置にある語種ほど適用される規則や制約の数が少なくなる。今年度の研究では、従来仮定されてきた同心円状のレキシコンの構造が、ヒトの言語にあり得る構造のひとつにすぎないことが明らかになった。トルコ語のレキシコンの構造も、現代ウイグル語のレキシコンの構造も、同心円状の構造にはなっていない。また、このほかにも、トルコ語、現代ウイグル語、日本語、韓国語のレキシコンの構造を対照し、4言語の共通点を明らかにし、レキシコンの普遍的な特徴に関する仮説として、a. レキシコンには、「最も多くの規則が適用される語彙グループ」が1つだけ存在する。b.レキシコンは、語彙の集合間のどこかに包含関係がある構造をもつ。の2つを提案した。これらの研究成果を国内外で発表するとともに、本年度は博士論文（菅沼 2015）を執筆した。
