本年度は主に研究の総括として，空間－感情メタファに関するこれまでの知見をまとめ，さらにそれらのデータを基にメタ分析を行った。以下に詳しい内容を説明する。・上下空間－感情メタファと左右空間－感情メタファの顕著性の違い我々の心の中で，上下左右空間と感情の快不快が連合している (空間－感情メタファ: e.g., Casasanto, 2009)。具体的には，上と利き手側は快感情，下と非利き手側は不快感情と結びついている。これらのメタファが我々の行動に影響を与えると言われている (メタファ一致効果)。近年，上下空間－感情メタファの方が，左右空間－感情メタファよりも，メタファ一致効果が顕著に現れるということが報告されている (e.g., Marmolejo-Ramos et al., 2013)。本研究では，この顕著性の違いには各研究間で使用されている課題の種類が関与しているのではないかと考え，反応時間を指標にしている課題を用いた研究とそれ以外の課題を用いた研究に分けてメタ分析を行った。その結果，上下空間－感情メタファはいずれの課題であっても有意なメタファ一致効果が認められ，左右空間－感情メタファでは反応時間課題でのみ有意なメタファ一致効果が見られた。このことは，上下空間－感情メタファの影響は広範囲の認知処理で見られる一方で，左右空間－感情メタファは処理の流暢性や効率性に特化して影響を与えることを示唆している。これらの成果について，国内学会で発表を行い，現在論文を執筆中である。他にも，関連する成果を専門誌ならびに国内外の学会にて発表を行った。具体的には，1本の査読付き論文，3本の査読無し論文，1件の国際学会，さらに14件の国内学会・シンポジウムにて発表を行った。また，2件の国内学会発表について発表賞を受賞した。現在も6本の論文を査読付き雑誌に投稿中である。
