项目摘要

発話知覚では視覚情報が音声の聞き取りの助けになることが知られており、この働きはMcGurk効果（McGurk & MacDonald, 1976）という錯覚に反映されている。自閉症スペクトラム障害（ASD）ではMcGurk効果の生起が少ないが、錯覚が低下する要因については明らかでない。本研究課題では、ASD診断群・一般健常者の間で自閉症傾向の連続性を仮定した自閉症スペクトラム仮説（Baron-Cohen et al., 2001）に基づき、この問題についての検討を行った。本年度は、発話刺激の顕在性を実験的に操作して検討した（研究1：視覚刺激の顕在性の操作、研究2：音声刺激の顕在性の操作）。研究1では、多義図形(ルビンの杯)の映像と音声を組み合わせた発話刺激を作成し、McGurk効果の生起を検討した。予備実験では、発話映像として認識しづらい多義図形の映像であってもMcGurk効果が生起することが示された。続いて、自閉症スペクトラム質問紙（AQ）に回答した大学生(471名)の中からAQ得点の高群・低群各10名を抽出し、視聴覚発話課題を実施した。主な結果として、AQ高群でも錯覚の生起が有意に生じるが、低群と比べて錯覚の生起率が相対的に低いことが示された。研究2では音声に対するノイズレベルを操作し、自閉症傾向との関連性を検討した。実験1と同様に、AQ得点の高群・低群各13名を参加者（研究1に参加していない）として抽出した。主な結果として、音声の聞き取りや読唇の正答率では群間差はないが、AQ高群は低群と比べて、視覚情報の利用が相対的に低いことが示された。一方で、このような傾向は、音声がターゲットとなる課題でのみ有意に見られることが示された。これらの成果は、現在論文化の手続きを行っている。これらの研究実施に加えて、本年度は、これまでの研究結果について、国際誌へ3報の論文発表を行った。
