项目摘要

平成28年度は長屋王家木簡に関する論稿を公表した。本稿では長屋王家の家産の中に、父である高市皇子の時代に形成されたものが継承され、長屋王の変後も一体性を保って利用されていたことを論証した。古代日本おいて、親から継承された家産が重要な役割を果たしていることを明らかにしたことで、有力な王族・貴族の政治基盤の一端を解明することができたと考える。さらに、本年度は多くの学会に参加し、また自身も報告する機会を得ることができた。まず、科研費・基盤Ｃ「東アジア諸王室における「后位」比較史研究に関する国際的研究基盤の形成」の研究会である東アジア后位比較史研究会に参加し、古代日本の皇后制について、光明子の家政機関を軸として口頭報告を行った。他の時代の皇后制を研究対象とする研究者や中国史、朝鮮史の研究者との議論を通じて、東アジアという広い視野で古代日本の皇后をどのように位置づけることができるのか、東アジア諸国の皇后制を比較する際に家政機関や家産という視角が非常に有用であるのではないか、といったことを感じることができ、自身の研究をさらに深めることができた。東アジア后位比較史研究会での口頭報告と修士論文を基にして、１１月には史学会大会古代史部会で光明子の家産に関する口頭報告を行った。光明子の家産と父である不比等の関係に注目し、光明子の家産は、立后以前に形成されたものの中には不比等から継承した家産があり、それらによって次期皇位継承者である皇太子を扶養するという体制をとっていたと考えた。こうした皇太子の扶養体制について検討するために、古代日本の皇太子制についても考察を深め、続日本紀研究会3月例会において令制東宮の成立と展開に関する口頭報告を行った。これらの研究報告を通して、令制の規定と実態とを厳密に分けて考える必要性を改めて痛感するとともに、これらの研究成果をまとめる際の重要な視点となると考える。
