项目摘要

報告者は研究課題「ロシア演劇学の構築：１９２０-３０年代ロシア演劇におけるリアリズム概念の考察」に基づいて、平成29年度も継続的に研究を行った。当該年度は、平成28年度に渉猟した資料の読解と分析を行なっていた。しかし、それらの資料があまりに膨大で、平成29年度末までにまとめるに至らなかった点が悔やまれる。ただし、1920年代後半のロシア演劇におけるリアリズム概念の展開において、戯曲の側からのアプローチの道筋が見えたことは前進であった。1920年代後半、「ソ連の日常」を扱う「事実」に基づいたドキュメンタリー的戯曲が生まれたが、これまでのロシア演劇史研究ではそうした戯曲の上演は低く評価され、詳細に論じられてこなかった。こうした状況は主に二つの理由が指摘できる。第一に、この時代の戯曲は、主に「文学史」に位置付けられ、文学作品としての内容、あるいは作家性に依拠して分析されてきたということ。第二に、当時の日常を描く戯曲が、革命期に生まれた前衛的手法と齟齬を生じさせたため、上演そのものがうまくいかなかったということである。トレチヤコフら劇作家たちは1920年代後半以降、文学理論において「ファクトの文学」を標榜し、作家性を拝して現実を切り取る手法を実践し、これを演出家らとともに「舞台上」に実現させようとする。こうした演劇における「ファクト」の概念とその実践の試みを上演計画に即して考察することで、社会主義リアリズム前段階における、アヴァンギャルド演劇の方法論模索とその限界、そして展開の可能性を描き出していく可能性が看取できた。1920-30年代ロシア演劇におけるリアリズム概念の考察というテーマは、引き続き報告者の課題とする。期間中に渉猟した膨大な資料群の精査・分析を継続し、明確な成果を得られるよう努めていく。
