项目摘要

現在、博士論文の一部として研究論文を執筆中である。当初の計画では採用期間中に博士論文を執筆・提出する予定であった。遅延の原因は分析に必要な資料を集成するための資料調査及び資料の資料化作業に予定以上の時間を要したことである。また計画にあった発掘調査の許可取得と実施、報告書の作成にも時間を要した。しかし分析と執筆に必要な資料の集成と調査の実施を実現できたことが成果である。土器分析に関して、今年度前半までに計262点の三足円筒土器データを取得した。上記のように集成した土器群を分類するに当たり、まずマヤ土器研究法であるタイプ・ヴァラエティ法が扱う器面調整と装飾技法の属性を分類基準として用いた。またCulvert(1993)が時期差を示すとして重要視している器形の属性を分類基準として用いた。この3属性と細分属性によって資料群を分類し、44タイプを得た。本分析では上記の作業により、テオティワカン様式の遺物である三足円筒土器に関して、マヤ地域の4つの小地域において見られる地域差を具体的に示すことができた。発掘調査について、2016年10月～12月にグアテマラ共和国のティカル国立公園にて発掘調査を実施した。古典期前期のティカルにおける土器生産体制を明らかにすることが目的である。Becker(2003)の推定する土器製作区画に近く、かつ類似の立地条件を有する地点を選定して調査を実施した。当該地区は1950年代後半から実施された踏査による測量図が最も有効な図面であった。そのためトータルステーションを用いて新たにより精度の高い測量図を作成した。そして踏査の情報と組み合わせることで新たな建造物配置図を作成した。このことが一つの成果である。またこれらの図面と調査成果、出土資料の分析から、当該エリアにおける空間利用法について所見を得ることができた。
