项目摘要

フランスにおいて男女の政治的平等（パリテ）を推進する女性市民運動の現状を明らかにするための現地調査を計画し実行し、さらに研究成果の公表を行った。過去3年間で培った、調査対象者である女性市民運動（Femmes d’Alsace）の担い手たちとのラポールを活かし、フランスにおけるフィールド調査では、Femmes d’Alsaceの25周年記念イベントの実施に際して参与観察を行った。また、フランス現地でパリテや女性の市民運動について研究する研究者と交流し、フランスにおけるパリテの現状について意見交換を行った。上記研究活動を反映させた研究成果として、(1)論文「男女平等理念が異性愛主義と結びつく危険性――フランス市民の『パリテ』解釈を事例に」を、『フォーラム現代社会学』に発表した。加えて、過去3年間の研究成果のまとめとして、(2)博士論文「フランスの性別クオータ制『パリテ』に関する社会学的研究――女性たちの運動と差異のジレンマに焦点をあてて」を大阪大学人間科学研究科に提出した。博士論文においては、①フランスにおいて、クオータ制のなかでも50%という高い候補者割当て枠を用いるパリテ法（パリテはフランス語で男女平等・同数を意味する）が、世界的にも珍しく憲法改正の手続きを伴って制定され、その後フランス社会に根付いた要因を、同法に対する社会的・政治的合意の形成過程に着目しながら考察し、②フランスにおいて単なるクオータ制ではなく「パリテ法」が制定された理由と意義を明らかにした。また、現在のフランス社会においてパリテ法がどういった影響を与えているのかを、パリテ法が適用される選挙や議会に着目し実証的に検討し、③日本においてクオータ制を導入するための示唆を、「男女共同参画」という語と理念の戦略的活用の可能性に着目し導出した。
