本研究は、14世紀インドの思想家、ガンゲーシャの意味論を、思想史的および比較哲学的アプローチの両面から検討しようとするものである。具体的には、（1）ガンゲーシャの『宝珠』における意味論を、古典論理学派の意味論と対比しつつ解読し、その成立に至る思想史を明らかにすること、（2）そうして解明されるガンゲーシャの意味論を哲学的見地から検討し、その特質と問題点を明らかにすることを目指す。最終年度はこれまでの研究の集約と、遅れ気味であったアウトプットの推進に注力した。まず、2015年に提出した学位論文を、その後の研究で得られた知見によって訂正・加筆し、単著として出版した。また、本研究の成果を応用するひとつの仕方として、意味論を16世紀インドの美学と関連させる研究を進め、口頭発表を行い、その詳細は論文として出版された。その他、非常に多くのアウトプットの機会に恵まれた。論文は英文誌Sambhasaに1本が掲載された。また、口頭では、ウィーンの国際ワークショップに招かれ、本研究と密接に関わる言語哲学の問題に関してふたつの発表を行った。その内容は、数年以内に一般向けのアンソロジーに収録されて出版される予定である。一方、ガンゲーシャの言語哲学の背後にあるものとして昨年よりその研究を強化している宗教哲学については、海外の出版社が準備しているEncyclopediaの一章の執筆を求められたので、本研究の成果を盛り込んで執筆した。さらに、ルーマニアの新しい学術誌の招待を受け、意味論に関する論文を執筆中である。以上のように、研究成果のアウトプットについては、計画を上回る成果を上げることができた。その一方で、原稿執筆に押されて写本研究の進捗が滞り、翻刻テキストを公表するところまで進められていない。これについては、本研究課題が終了しても、当初予定を速やかに達成すべく、研究を継続する予定である。

This study focuses on the 14th century thinkers, the meaning of the concept, the history of thought, and comparative philosophy. The results of this research were written in full swing. In addition, the new academic journal will be received and the relevant papers will be written. The results of the above research are as follows: On one hand, the writing of the manuscript has delayed the progress of writing this research, and the translation of the text has been made public. This research topic has been completed, and the research has been completed.
