项目摘要

本研究は小幽隠期（874－941年）のイマーム派思想研究である。最終年となる本年度では、（1）資料の収集、（2）博士論文の構成要素となるイマーム派の秘教的側面の分析を行った、（1）一次資料となるアラビア語文献は、主としてインターネットの図書サイトを通じて入手した。また、インドネシアにおいてイマーム派文献の収集も行い、同国では数人のイマーム派学者たちと本研究に関する意見交換も行った。（2）イマーム派の秘教的側面に関する今年度の研究の目的は、大きく分けて（A）イマーム派と極端派（宗教指導者イマームたちを神格化する集団）との間の教義上の境界線の解明すること、及び、（B）二元論的世界観が初期イマーム派の特徴であるという先行研究の主張を再考することであった。Aについて、本研究では最も極端派的傾向の強いイマーム派学者とされるサッファール・クンミー（d.902）の伝承集の中に極端派批判の記述が多くあることに着目した。同書の分析を通じて、10世紀初頭において「神格化」「預言者性の継続」「シャリーアの破棄」の3つの教義が極端派の明確なメルクマールとしてイマーム派内ですでに認識されていたことを示した。また、極端派のメルクマールとは見なされていない一部の教義の中には小幽隠期の時点では両派の間で未分節な教義も存在していたことも示した。Bについて、一部の先行研究は、初期のイマーム派の教義の特徴の1つが、イスラーム以前の宗教であるグノーシス主義などの影響を受けた二元論的世界観であると主張してきた。今年度の研究では、イマーム派の特徴と見なしてきた二元論的世界観は、イスラームの多数派のスンナ派の思想の中にも見出されることを示した。また、イマーム派の現世観は二元論とはかけ離れた構造を持っていることを示した。これらの観点から、同派が二元論的世界観を持っているとしてもそれは同派の特徴とはならないと結論付けた。

This study is a study of the thought of the "Little Quiet Period"(874-941).
