项目摘要

場面性を重視した相互行為分析の手法を開発することを目的として，以下の研究内容を実施した．まず，前年度までの研究成果を踏まえ，医療場面における相互行為の特徴について，理論的考察を行った．特に，歯科診療場面における歯科医師や患者の身体行動が言語的性質（言語性）を帯びるかどうかを検討した．その結果，以下の(1)，(2)の観点において身体行動の言語性が存在することが示唆された．(1) 身体行動は，相手に特定の反応を要求するという点で言語性を帯びることが示唆された．歯科医師が患者の口にミラーを近づけ，患者がそれに応じて口を開くことは，隣接ペアが歯科診療場面に特有のやり方で身体的に構成されているものとして位置づけられた．ただし，実際にはその言語性は，歯科診療を取り巻く社会的背景や物理的状況に裏付けられて初めて生じるものであることも留意すべきであることが論じられた．(2) 身体行動は，共起している言語的発話を相互行為連鎖上に意味づけるという点で言語性を帯びることが示唆された．具体的には，「デンタルミラーを患者の口に近づける」という身体行動が，歯科医師の発話の連鎖上の意味 (まもなく発話が終了すること) を決定づけ，歯科医師と患者の言語的やりとりを適切に促す，というプロセスが観察された．加えて，医療場面を中心に実施した相互行為分析の結果を踏まえ，場面の特性に適合した相互行為分析の手法として，(1) 会話における複数の身体部位によるマルチモーダルな調整を統合的に記述する手法，(2) 会話の分裂を含んだ参与構造の複雑な展開を俯瞰的に記述する手法，(3) 大局的な会話連鎖の構造やエスノグラフィックな背景情報を参照することで，局所的な相互行為のプラクティスを解釈する手法を提案した．
