项目摘要

宮城県石巻市を中心に「東日本大震災後の喪の作業の過程に見られる死者と生者の関係性の変容」に関するフィールドワークを継続した。採用年度から3年間のフィールドワークの方法論として「当事者の生活に馴染むこと」を用いていた。地政学的とも言える方法論を通して震災を経験した者の視点から見た死の人称性の揺れを分析し、ジャンケレヴィッチの死の人称性、ハイデガーと田辺による死の哲学 (死と死者の違いについて)といった哲学の問題を掘り下げた。震災を経験した者が失った日常とは何なのだろうか。採用最終年度は、一見して死と反対側にある「生活、日常」を分析していくことを課題として設定した。具体的な研究成果は、臨床実践の現象学会第5回大会の口頭発表において「生活とは何か ―東日本大震災から考える、普段は見知らぬものの存在が際立つとき」、石巻市鹿妻地区にある一坪書店文庫の企画ワークショップ「本屋de哲学」において「二人称の死を考える」を報告した。とりわけ石巻での報告は、参加者である住民 (震災の経験者であり、報告者が3年間にわたって関わってきた住民たち)に対する初めての報告であった。二人称の死が訪れた時に生きている人がおこなう喪の作業のあり方を考察するために石巻市に滞在し、最終的に辿りついたのは、人間がただ繰り返し営んでいる日常生活の本質となる「気、雰囲気、空気、情感」といった、一人の人間が置かれている環境を彩っているものたちの存在であった。死と死者の哲学、死の人称性についての考察を進めてきたが、それらを単純に「死」の哲学から見るのではなく、「生」の哲学の観点から見ることによって「石巻の哲学」なるものが完成する。以上のような「生の哲学における死者の哲学」を基盤にしてジャンケレヴィッチの郷愁論を読み直していくことによって、喪の作業の方法論としてジャンケレヴィッチの郷愁論を構築していく見通しを立てた。
