本研究の目的は、フランスの哲学者メルロ=ポンティの教育学・児童心理学の講座、通称ソルボンヌ講義（1949-1952年）を、『知覚の現象学』に代表される前期他者論とは対比される中期他者論として、体系的に解釈することであった。本年度はソルボンヌ講義の中でも、文化人類学の議論とサイコドラマの議論を、メルロ=ポンティの参照している原典にさかのぼって調査し、それらの議論を人種、ジェンダー、民族、階級などの「類型」についての議論として解釈した。「類型」は親から子への世話や周囲の大人の態度などを通じて世代を通じて伝承されていく側面を持ち、主体が広義の表現、行為をするための基盤の機能を果たすものである。これらの「類型」は伝承によって個々人にとり、あたかも「運命」のような様相を呈することがあるが、この「運命」、集団に典型的な態度・行動の様式も主体自身によるそれらの類型・様式の自覚と「取り上げ直し」によって、個別的で新たな様式・スタイルへと改変され、乗り越えられるという論点が確認された。報告者はこれらの論点を、知覚主体にとっての「他者の現れ」の議論として整理し、博士論文を執筆した。さらに報告者は、３月に二週間弱フランスに滞在し、フランス国立図書館において、『心理学誌』の調査を行なった。同誌にはメルロ=ポンティによるソルボンヌ講義が、学生向けに掲載されており、講義ノートを取った者の姓名およびメルロ=ポンティによる承認の有無などが掲載されている。報告者はこの調査から、ソルボンヌ講義の講義録のうちどこまでをメルロ=ポンティ自身の考えとして確証できるか確認し、さらに他の版との異同を確認した。報告者は以上のソルボンヌ講義についての研究によって、先行研究が看過してきた同講義の重要性を示し、同講義をメルロ=ポンティ思想の中に位置づけることができた。成果は博士論文の出版によって公表する予定である。
