项目摘要

本年度行った作業は３つに分けられる。まず第一に、昨年度からの継続でアルフレート・シュッツの学説・理論の検討を行った。彼が掲げる「社会科学の哲学的基礎づけ」というプロジェクトがいかなる試みであるのか、シュッツが何を意図して何を意図しなかったのかを、初期から前期にかけての著作を検討することで詳らかにした。これについては、「日本社会学史学会」にて報告を行った。第二に、文化社会学を題材に、シュッツ理論を経験的現象に適用するための方法論的検討を行った。シュッツの「類型化」という概念（およびそれと密接に関係する現象学の諸概念）は、人々による経験の分節化がどのように生じているか、人々がどのようなカテゴリーの下で社会的世界を理解しているかを記述するために、有用である。このことについては国際学会で報告した。加えて、シュッツの多元的現実論が経験的現象の探究にとって持つ意義を検討する作業も行ったが、こちらについては報告準備中である。第三に、シュッツ現象学と解釈学の接点について検討した。両者は「理解」というキーワードを共にしており、前科学的な次元を主題化しているなど、理論的に重なる部分も多い。しかし、「自然的態度の構成的現象学」として構想されるシュッツの立場と、「解釈学的循環」に基づく解釈学者の立場では、科学の論じ方は同じではない。2018年10月から12月まで、スイスのザンクト・ガレン（St.Gallen）大学に滞在し、この論点について文献収集や専門家との議論を行った。以上の研究内容の中で一貫しているのは、シュッツ理論の社会学的意義を探るという試みである。本研究は2018年度が最終年度であるが、当初想定していたよりも幅広い方面でシュッツ理論の展開可能性が見いだされた。
