项目摘要

本研究は、主にアルフレート・シュッツやトーマス・ルックマンらの現象学的社会理論に基づいて、社会学の「認識論的再帰性（epistemological reflexivity）」に関する問題の整理と新たな視座の構築を目指している。今年度は昨年度までの学会発表内容を論文化する作業を進めつつ、「認識論的再帰性」に関連する主題の包括的検討を行った。その成果のひとつとして、日本社会学会では「価値関係とレリヴァンス――ウェーバーとシュッツの価値自由論」と題する報告を行った。この報告では、社会学が「価値」と結びついていると述べるときその「価値」とは正確にはどのような種類の「価値」なのか、社会学が「価値」と結びついているならば「価値から自由な」領域はいかにして可能なのか、といった問いに取り組んだ。また、本科研の成果の一部として、『シュッツの社会科学認識論――社会の探究が生まれるところ』を晃洋書房から出版した。同書は、初期から晩年までシュッツの社会科学認識論を網羅的に検討し、シュッツの思考の展開過程を跡づけるとともに、認識論としての可能性の一端を提示した。また、昨年度からの積み残しとなっていた課題のひとつとして、認識論的再帰性の問題をめぐる現象学的社会理論と批判理論の比較検討に着手した。これについては、2023年6月の世界社会学会議にて"Prescientific Experience as a Ground for Critical Theory: Schutz, Habermas and Honneth"というタイトルで報告予定である。
