项目摘要

採用3年目に当たる今期は、過去2年間の作業を踏まえ、藩鎮体制の崩壊過程と唐朝滅亡後の展開について、中華世界・内陸アジア世界双方の動向を踏まえた考察を行った。そして、その成果を2本の論文にまとめ、『史学雑誌』『東洋史研究』に発表することができた。前者の論文では、唐朝滅亡の要因として、従来主要因とされてきた黄巣の乱だけでなく、北辺で生じた遊牧系沙陀族の乱も関与していたことを明らかにし、これによって藩鎮田性が破綻に追い込まれたことが、唐朝の滅亡に繋がったと結論付けた。また、後者の論文では、唐朝北辺の藩鎮が契丹の勃興に対し「盟」を結んで対抗していたことを、沙陀・契丹の関係と比較しつつ明らかにした。いずれも、唐代藩鎮の活動が北方における遊牧勢力の活動と関連していたことを実証的に解明したものである。以上の成果によって、唐朝の滅亡を中華世界の枠内だけでなく、内陸アジアまで含めた広域的な視野で位置づける、との本研究の目的を達成することができたと考える。また、唐末から五代十国期の史料を総合的に調査した中で、従来利用されてこなかった仏教史料や、十国側の史料を記した野史等の中に、唐滅亡後の藩鎮の活動に関する貴重な情報が含まれていることも確認できた。これらについても内容の精読を行っており、今後の研究に生かしていきたいと考える。ただし、今年度に予定していた海外調査については、新型コロナウイルス流行の影響で実施することができなかった。そのため、墓誌等については現地調査ではなく、研究機関のインターネットサイト等を利用して研究を行った。

The content of this article is refined, and future research is conducted. This year's overseas survey is scheduled to be conducted in the middle of the year, and the impact of new types of telecommunications is expected to be implemented.
