2020年度は新型コロナウイルスパンデミックによる緊急事態宣言や海外渡航規制のため、対面での会合を自粛せざるを得ず、国内外調査も自由に出来ない状況であったため、Zoomを利用したオンラインでの研究会の開催と学会発表が主な研究活動となった。研究会ではメンバーの研究計画や成果に関する意見交換のほか、松本悟・法政大学教授から「境界とは何か：3つの"ism"から考える」、松永秀樹・JICA中東・欧州部長から「南アジア-中東-日本をつなぐ越境的実践事例」、松村正治・NORA理事長から「私の里山保全運動における持続可能性課題の協働解決」をテーマにして、それぞれの越境的実践の経験や考え方について報告いただき、メンバー4名と議論を行った。共通の学会報告としては、2020年12月6日にオンラインで開催された国際開発学会全国大会にて、前年度6月の同学会で行ったランドテーブルを発展させて、企画セッション「越境的実践がつむぐガバナンス：アジアの持続可能性課題の協働解決に向けて（2）」と題して、メンバー4名が研究報告を行った。特にこの企画セッションでは、それぞれの地域が抱える持続可能性課題の解決に向けて、多様なステークホルダーが、それぞれが拠り所とする領域・領分を越え、多様な知をつむぎながら協働するプロセスのなかで繰り広げられている越境的実践において、多様な知や制度的文化的コンテキストとその変化に焦点を当てた研究報告として、東日本大震災におけるサードセクター、インドネシア農村のガバナンス、中国貴州省における非物質文化の継承、中国の環境汚染問題の現場でのNGOと研究者の協働の事例について報告と議論を行った。また研究代表者の大塚は、新興感染症のパンデミックという持続可能性への新たな脅威に対して人間、動物、環境・生態系の既存の領域を越えた「ワンヘルス」のガバナンスについて論稿を発表した。

In particular, this project is aimed at solving the problem of the possibility of regional integration, multi-channel integration, multi-channel integration, multi-East Japan Earthquake Disaster, Non-Material Culture in Guizhou Province, China, Environmental Pollution in China, Case Study of NGO Cooperation, Report and Discussion. A representative of the research team is presenting a paper on the possibility of new threats to humans, animals, the environment, and ecosystems across existing fields of infection and emerging infections.
