项目摘要

2019年度前半期は、前年度の課題を引継ぎつつ研究成果を文章化し発表することに努めた。6月の西洋中世学会第11回大会では、トマス・アクィナスにおける「原罪」の思想が倫理学一般に意義を持つ可能性を考察した。7月の2019年哲学若手研究者フォーラムにおける発表では、実践理性との関連で、そもそもアクィナスが「理性」と呼ぶものが、基本的に推論的思考の形式的妥当性を保つものを指し、その推論の出発点となる何らかの原理が具体的に善か悪かを問えきないことを明らかにした。そこからさらに、思弁理性と実践理性という二つの理性、およびそれらの働きの出発点を担う知性と良知との働きを比較した。9月の日本カトリック神学会第31回学術大会での発表では、上の論点に関して、特に新自然法論学派との関連で問題を再構成した。実践理性の第一原理、および善それ自体の認識に関して、新自然法論ではこの認識を思弁理性の働きと完全に分離されたものと解釈するが、むしろ思弁理性の働きが実践理性の働きを基礎づけていると考えられる。同じ観点を10月の日本倫理学会第70回大会でも発表した。問題になるのは所謂「自然主義的誤謬」であるからこそ、新自然法論者は思弁理性と実践理性の分離を提示した。それゆえ正確に読解することと現代的な意義を保つことを両立する一つの案として、二つの理性の分離に訴えなくとも自然主義的誤謬が犯されていないことを示すことが考える。この研究の一部は、2月に日本カトリック神学会誌第31号に投稿し、修正の指示つきで掲載許可を受けた。さらに11月にはアクィナスの実践理性の基本的な構造に関してドイツ・ライン法制史研究所M.Schmoeckel教授を招いた国際WS"Legal Traditions in Medieval Ages"にて発表した。
