项目摘要

感染症問題の影響で2年順延されていた第18回国際サンスクリット学会（当初開催予定地: オーストラリア）は、結局、全面的なオンライン開催となり、2023年1月にオンラインにて参加・発表した。また、第73回日本印度学仏教学会学術大会（オンライン、2022年9月）において、「聴覚内送説における音源定位問題」と題した研究発表をし、その内容は『印度学仏教学研究』第71巻に投稿し、同巻第1号（2022年12月刊行）に掲載された。いずれも、古典インド聖典解釈学派における、音声の本性をめぐる哲学対話を分析した研究成果であり、関連する各文献ごとに、利用可能な一次資料の全数調査に基づくものであり、相当数の写本資料の解読に基礎付けた文献実証的研究である。今年度に発表したテーマは、いずれも古典インドの聖典解釈学派の音声論題の中から〈聴覚内送説〉と〈音声実体説〉に焦点を当てたものであるが、特に『詩節評釈』「音声論題」第163-201詩節において、前者の聴覚内送理論が〈鏡像の視覚理論〉とも関連する点も確認されたため、鏡像認識も含めて視聴覚理論全体を射程に収めた研究への展開の可能性も見込まれる。上記で投稿・刊行された学術雑誌には紙幅の都合で掲載できなかった研究成果として、日本印度学仏教学会での発表時の配布資料は、Academia.edu において公開している。その資料中には、『詩節評釈』該当箇所で利用可能だった全一次資料に基づく批判校訂テキストと翻訳、また、重要な読みを保持しながら貝葉の総数と番号付に問題のあるアディアル図書館所蔵のマラヤラム文字写本の欠落貝葉に関する情報を報告している。
