前年度から開始したi で重複する現在語幹の調査の中、pi-par-/pi-pr(-a)- (impf. a-pi-pr-a-ta Rigveda V 34,2)「満たす」、pi-prc-「満たす」の分析を行った。praa/pur「満たす」、parc/prc「満たす」について、重複現在語幹だけでなく、ヴェーダに見られる全動詞語幹の用例を集め、分析した。用例の分析・検討に基づいて、iによる語根重複の機能（従来は作為factitiveを表すとされる）について考察を行い、学会発表と学会誌投稿を通じて成果を公開した。iで重複する現在語幹およびアオリスト語幹の一部は作為（factitive）の機能を持つことが知られているが、重複現在語幹pipar-/pi-pr- と鼻音挿入型現在語幹prnaatiはいずれも「満たす」を表す。同様にparc/prc も重複現在語幹pi-prc-および鼻音挿入型現在prnaktiを持ち、「満たす、混ぜる」という作為の意味を表す。これらはいずれも同じ動詞語根の拡張形から形成された可能性があることが分かった。parc/prc の動詞語形において語根末尾に喉音（laryngeal）を伴う形（seT）と伴わない形（aniT）が同時に現れることが、類推によってではなく、*eh1による拡張形と非拡張形の差によって説明し得ることを示した。iによる重複語幹における作為の意味が何に由来するのかについてはまだ解明されていないが、重複アオリスト語幹も考慮に入れて分析を行う。
