项目摘要

本研究プロジェクトの一環として日本独文学会秋季大会（2022年10月8日・9日）にて「絵画、テクスト、テクスチャー：パウル・クレーとローベルト・ヴァルザーをメディア横断的に読み解く」をテーマとしてドイツ語によるオンライン国際シンポジウムを実施した。発表者は、スイス在住の研究協力者２名、ベルンの「ローベルト・ヴァルザー・センター」館長レート・ゾルクと「パウル・クレー・センター」の柿沼万里江がベルン市とチューリヒ市から参加し、日本からは山口大学のエムデ、東京学芸大学の若林恵、および研究協力者の明治大学の新本史斉が参加した。シンポジウム以外の作業についても、本プロジェクトは、オンライン遠隔会議によって綿密に連絡をとりながら、上記のメンバーが精力的に個々の研究を促進し、研究論文を刊行していく形で準備を進めることで、全体的に成果を出すことができた。パウル・クレー・センター研究員の柿沼は、若林の招聘により、学習院大学や東京学芸大学で開催されたオンラインや対面の公開講演会を行い、クレーの晩年の創作の芸術的・政治的意義やメディア横断的創造について論じた。同時に本プロジェクトの次の段階の準備として専門の研究者や各地の美術館関係者と打ち合わせを行った。新本はローベルト・ヴァルザーの作品におけるジャンルの混淆について、英詩分野に関わる研究雑誌に研究論文を執筆した。エムデは2022年6月24日-29日、グルジアのトビリシで開催された国際比較文学大会（ICLA）で研究成果を発表した。その後、エムデは引き続きドイツとスイスにて情報収集と打ち合わせを行い、ベルリン自由大学の附属図書館やベルンのパウル・クレー研究センターの資料館で資料収集を行った。年度全体を通して、本プロジェクト推進のため、スイスと日本のメンバーとの間では、定期的にオンラインによるミーティングを継続して行った。
