项目摘要

本研究プロジェクトでは、特許や技術系論文のデータベースを用いて計量書誌学的な分析を試みることで、日本の地域産業や産業技術史の経験をイノベーション論から一般化ならびに豊富化することを目的としている。二年目の2022年度については、一年目に引き続き、関連分野における研究動向やアプローチを整理し、地域経済論やイノベーション論などについてサーベイを行った。定量的分析を進めるにあたっては、研究者向けに公表されている知的財産研究所のIIPパテントデータベースを利用して、1960年から2010年度までの上場企業ごとに集計データを作成し、年次ごとの動向について引き続き検討した。大手電機・電子企業が出願した特許のうち、いくつかの重要な特許をサンプルとして抽出し、出願人や出願場所の調査を進めた。それらを集計するなかで、産業立地の動向と出願状況を照らし合わせつつ、特許の出願状況の地域特性などを把握するために新聞・雑誌記事の収集および分析を進めた。また産業技術史へのアプローチとして、電機・電子企業の1960年代から1990年代までに刊行された工場史や社史についてデータベースの作成を引き続き実施し、それらの資料の収集および調査を行った。工場史や社史などに記載されている技術開発や立地機能などの記述内容については、OCRにてテキスト情報を取り込み、技術開発の動向やイノベーションの地域特性などについてテキストマイニング手法の利用可能性などを引き続き検討しながら考察を行った。
