项目摘要

本研究は認識法助動詞と証拠性表現の2つのカテゴリーを(1)時間的制約と(2)推量の形式の二つの観点から横断的に分析し、その意味の現れ方に一定の法則性を見出すことを目的としている。本年度は特に(2)の推量の形式に関して、「証拠性表現を用いた推量においては、認識法助動詞を用いるときとは異なり、仮定的な情報に基づくことはできない」という新たな一般化を得ることが出来た。具体的には、qという情報に基づいてpという命題を推論する際に、推量法助動詞を使用する際にはqが仮定的なものであってもよいが、証拠性表現の場合はそれが許されない。これは本研究の主な研究対象である「ようだ」、apparently、should、mustのみならず、「みたいだ」「らしい」「にちがいない」といったほかの推量表現にも当てはまる一般化であり、証拠性表現と推量表現との間の大きな意味的差異であると言える。また、個人的嗜好述語（Predicates of Personal Taste）と認識法助動詞/証拠性表現との相互作用について、英語と日本語で違いがあるという発見もできた。個人的嗜好述語の研究は主に英語のtastyなどが主流であり、言語間の差異はこれまで大きく取り上げられることはなかったという現在の状況において、本研究におけるこの発見は今後の通言語的な議論に繋がっていく土台を提供しうる。

This study focuses on two aspects of cognitive auxiliary verbs: (1) time constraints;(2) deduction of form;(3) analysis of cross sections;(4) presentation of meaning;(5) presentation of certain laws;(6) purpose constraints. This year's special (2) deduction form is related to,"evidence performance is used in the deduction, cognitive auxiliary verbs are used in the different, fixed information is basic," the new generalization is obtained. When a specific verb is used, it can be inferred that it is a basic verb. The main research object of this study is to generalize, prove, and imply the difference between the two.また、个人的嗜好述语（Predicates of Personal Taste）と认识法助动词/证拠性表现との相互作用について、英语と日本语で违いがあるという発见もできた。The study of personal preference predicates the main topic of English tasty and mainstream, the differences between speech and language, the present situation, the present study, the discovery of future speech and language discussion.
