Mixed heritage individuals' encounters with raciolinguistic ideologies

I collected data from 293 participants and analyzed the data. I have published one paper in an international journal using the data collected for this project and am working on a second. The first paper analyzes the types of risks Mixed-heritage individuals report when forced to negotiate their identities, finding that damage to mental and emotional well being is often a risk-factor. I have presented these papers at two international conferences. The second analyzes how Mixed-heritage individuals are able to heal from emotional trauma experienced due to their multiracial identities. I have also been invited by several universities in the U.S. and Japan as an invited speaker to discuss these research findings.
