2022年度の実績について、（1）幕府と仏教教団の間における組織的関係の形成、（2）藩の寺院行政を組み込んだ分析の２つの面から概要を示すと以下のとおりである。（1）については、仏教教団側の実態を明らかにすべく、本山・中本山寺院の史料の調査を行った。本課題の経費を用いた現地調査としては薬師寺・泉涌寺・西尾市岩瀬文庫があり、この他に東京大学史料編纂所の写真帳・デジタル画像を用いて、仁和寺・西大寺・金地院の史料の分析を進めた。このうち、仁和寺所蔵史料を用いて、同寺の近世前期の僧である一音坊顕證の日記の概要を明らかにする研究をまとめた。これは真言宗の教団組織、幕藩領主との関係を検討するうえで有益な史料である。（2）については、熊本藩と浄土真宗との関係を中心に調査・研究を行った。熊本藩領の関連史料の調査として、宇土市うと学資料室、西宗寺、熊本大学附属図書館、熊本県博物館ネットワークセンター、熊本県立図書館、関連寺院の所在地である堺市中央図書館などに赴き、原本・複製資料の調査を行った。それに加えて、他地域との比較を行うべく、久留米市立中央図書館、佐賀県立図書館、都城島津邸などにおいて九州の近隣諸藩の史料を調査し、また、藩と浄土真宗の研究に蓄積がある加越能地域にても史料調査を行った。以上の調査をもとに、2022年11月の第72回佛教史学会学術大会において、「近世前期における熊本藩の真宗統制」と題した報告を行い、これまで同時代史料による研究が十分になされてこなかった加藤氏の段階における真宗統制の実態と、それが細川氏に継承されるあり様を明らかにした。なお、上記の調査史料のうちの一部はデジタル撮影を行い、許可を得たものに関しては、所属先の東京大学史料編纂所図書室にて研究を目的とする利用者を対象に公開を行っている。

2022 performance review,(1) the formation of organizational relationships between shogunate and religious organizations,(2) the analysis of the organization of temple administration, and (2) an overview of the organization of temple administration are shown below. (1) Investigation of historical materials of Honshan and Nakamoto Monastery This topic is based on a field survey of historical data collected from Shiji Temple, Izumiji Temple, Nishio City Iwase Library, and an analysis of historical data collected from Niwaji Temple, Nishidaiji Temple, and Kanji Temple. The historical materials of the temple are used in the study of the diary of the temple in the early modern period. The relationship between the religious organizations and the feudal lords is discussed in detail. (2) The investigation and research center of Kumamoto Domain's relationship with Shenzong of the earth. Research on Historical Materials Related to Kumamoto Domain, Utoshi University Library, Nishizonji Temple, Kumamoto University Library, Kumamoto Prefectural Museum, Kumamoto Prefectural Library, Location of Related Temples, Sakai City Central Library, Original and Copy Data Research The historical materials of neighboring states of Kyushu were investigated and collected for the study of Shinsho no Kagoshi. The historical materials were collected for the study of Shinsho no Kagoshi. In connection with the above investigation, the 72nd Academic Conference of the Buddhist History Society in November 2022 was held in the middle of the report entitled "The Control of the Kumamoto Domain in the Early Modern Period," and the research on contemporary historical materials was very important. Part of the research history of Kakuji is published in the library of the Historical Materials Compilation Institute of the University of Tokyo.
