2022年度は米国と韓国に渡航し、調査を行うことができた。1年めである2021年度は新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響により、厳しい渡航制限が敷かれたため、全く海外調査に行くことができず、当初の計画を実行することができなかった。2年めとなる2022年度は米国に渡航し、アトランタのジミー・カーター大統領ライブラリとメリーランドの米国立公文書館アーカイヴス2で史料を収集することができた。本研究は韓国の経済自由化における米国の影響を分析することを主要な目的に据えているため、米国政権内の史料の蒐集は必須である。また、本研究の研究対象時期は米国で言えばカーター政権（1977－81年）とレーガン政権（1981－89年）に当たるため、ジミー・カーター大統領ライブラリでの調査は必須であった。しかし、メリーランドに行った際に調査する予定だった、ワシントンDCのIMFと世界銀行のアーカイヴスは新型コロナ感染対策のためにいまだ閉鎖されたままで、予定通りの調査を行うことはできなかった。また、2022年度には韓国の外交史料館を訪れ、同年度に公開された新史料も含む韓国側の政権内部文書を収集することができた。特に外交史料館であるため、経済自由化に関わる通商外交政策に関する文書を収集した。1年めは全く資料蒐集ができず、2年めになってようやく一次史料を収集することができたものの、これからこれらの史料を読み込んで分析する必要があり、未だ学術論文や学会報告として成果を発表することはできていない。

In 2022, we will sail between the United States and South Korea and conduct investigations. In 2022, the National Library of the People's Republic of China collected historical materials. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Korean economic liberalization on the United States and to collect historical data from the United States. The research period of this study is the period from 1977 to 1981, and the period from 1981 to 1989 is the period from 1981 to 1989. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank have established a new type of infection control strategy. In 2022, South Korea's diplomatic history museum was visited, and new historical materials were published in the same year, including the collection of internal documents of South Korea. Special Foreign Affairs Historical Materials Museum collects documents related to trade and foreign policy related to economic liberalization. 1 year of complete data collection, 2 years of primary historical data collection, analysis, academic papers, academic reports and achievements
