2022年度は、国土交通省より提供いただいた航空旅客動態調査のマイクロデータの分析をおこなった。国内線ネットワークにおける乗り継ぎ行動に影響する要因を明らかにするため、国内線を乗り継いで移動した旅客を対象として、発着地別に乗り継ぎ空港を集計した。そのうえで、移動時間・便数を説明変数として、ロジットモデルを用いてこれらの説明変数の効果を明らかにした。南方（沖縄・九州・四国地区）と北方（東北・北海道地区）の空港間は直行便で結ばれていないことがほとんどであるから、南方と北方の間を移動する際には乗り継ぎが必要である。これを、伊丹・名古屋（セントレア）・羽田のいずれでおこなうかが研究の主眼であった。乗り継ぎの実数としては羽田空港の利用が多かったが、これは便数の多さによるものであることが分析によって示唆された。
