昨今、平均寿命と健康寿命とのギャップの縮小や健康の維持及び疾病予防のための取組みが求められている背景において、生活習慣病の予防事業が推進されている。人々の健康増進のための取り組みは地域や企業など様々な主体によって実施されており、生活習慣病の発症の予防や重症化の予防は現代において重要な課題となっている。このような背景の下で、本研究では人々の健康行動を鈍らせる要因に着目して分析を行ない、予防行動を促進させる方策を検討する。本研究は、予防的保健行動における選択問題を対象として選好及び機会費用に関して分析を行ない、人々が行動をとる際に直面する問題について整理する。上記の目的遂行のため、健康の増進や病気の予防における個人の行動の特徴、また、金銭的ハードルや精神的なハードルに関する調査に取り組む。2021年度は、質問票の設計及び予防行動の評価方法に関して検討し、対象者の予防行動への意識や取組みへの積極性を評価する指標などの設計を行なった。機会費用の内容については、対象者の働き方や生活様式に着目し、機会費用の存在が健康診断の受診等の行動に与える影響を明らかにするため、金銭的及び精神的なハードルの面から検討を行なった。2022年度は、人々の生活様式や意識の変化に関して取り組んだ。昨今の感染症対策によって人々のライフスタイルは大きく変化している。家庭の状況や働き方の変化などの影響について整理し、調査への組み込みを行なった。
