本研究は、新人看護師の学習活動におけるエンゲージメントが臨床判断能力に及ぼす影響と教育支援の実態を明らかにし、新人看護師の学習活動におけるエンゲージメントの活用による臨床判断能力の発展を目指す教育支援モデルを構築することを目的とする。エンゲージメントは、学習活動への意欲的な取り組みを示すものであり、学習成果に基づく評価に依存するのではなく、学習プロセスを重視するという教育の転換を求められたことから発展した概念である。エンゲージメントの高さと望ましい能力や態度の獲得との関連が明らかにされていることから、新人看護師に求められている臨床判断能力との関連を検討し、学習活動のおけるエンゲージメントを教育支援に活用できるようにする。今年度は、臨床判断能力、新人看護師への教育支援の観点から国内外の文献検討を行った。臨床判断の国内における研究は1988年から始まり、2011年より増加している。国外では、2000年にTannerが臨床判断モデルを公表しており、現在にかけて、このモデルを使用することや定義づけに活用する研究が増加している。国内では、Tannerのモデル活用や定義づけが明確に行われていない研究が多くみられた。臨床判断の教育方法は、シミュレーションが主であった。臨床判断能力の評価指標は、国外ではLasater Clinical Judgment　Rubric（以下LCJR）が多く使用されている。国内では、多くが独自の評価表を用いていた。2018年にLCJR の日本語版が作成されており（細田ら，2018）、この評価表を用いることで、国内においても、国外と同じ基準で、臨床判断を評価できると考える。臨床判断の教育対象は、国内外において、学生が主であった。米国と日本の看護学生は、学習内容に差があるため、米国の看護学生への教育内容を日本の新人看護師へ活用できるか検討が必要である。
