本研究の目的は、中小規模事業所における仕事とがん治療の両立支援者に対する遠隔教育プログラムを開発することである。研究の実施計画は、①2022年度には国内外の文献レビューおよび、②インタビュー調査に向けての倫理審査を受審することであった。中小規模事業所における仕事とがん治療の両立支援者に対する遠隔教育プログラムに関する国内外の文献レビューの結果、中小規模事業所における仕事とがん治療の両立支援国内外共を実施することは難しいことが明らかになった。海外では、国民皆保険制度を導入している国は少なく、治療費の問題が重くのしかかっている。そのため、治療費を得るために就労する必要がある。その反面、企業側の対応は施設格差が大きい。さらに、covid19の影響による企業へのダメージは大きく、突然の解雇ということも少なくない。その為、病気を隠し仕事をすることも稀なことではない。国内では、周知のとおり大規模事業所においては、がんに限らず疾患をもつ労働者に対する仕事と治療の両立支援を実施していることが多い。しかし、従業員が少ない中小規模事業所の両立支援担当者は、支援の必要性を認識してはいても、対策を講ずることが難しい状況にある。また、国や都道府県においては、仕事とがん治療の両立支援マニュアルをHP上に公開し、仕事と治療の両立支援を推奨している。しかし、その効果は低いことから、現在実施している内容では十分とはいいがたい。また、中小規模事業所における仕事とがん治療の両立支援者に対する遠隔教育プログラムに関する先行研究は見当たらなかった。2023年度には、中小規模事業所における仕事とがん治療の両立支援者へのインタビュー調査を予定しているため、2022年末に倫理審査を申請した。
