项目摘要

新型コロナの影響で、海外での現地調査が難しい状況が続いたため、文献レビューや国内調査などを中心に課題に取り組んだ。まず、中国における作物遺伝資源の管理について、フォーマルセクターの実態に関する情報収集を進めた。また、中国国立ジーンバンク（CNGB）などの資料から、現在（2014年時点）中国国内で栽培されている穀類の品種数は、約60年前と比較すると70％近くが消失していることが分かってきた。次に、国内ついては、長崎県雲仙市の先進的事例についての現地調査、熊本県内で行われた「種苗交換会」への参与観察を行った。調査結果をもとに、自家採種の実践者の傾向や参加者の特徴について分析を進めた。以上により、九州におけるネットワークを強化することができた。また、これまでの岐阜県内の現地調査において、地域固有の野菜を複数発見している。その中のアブラナ科の野菜について、県の飛騨美濃伝統野菜として認定するために、認証委員会において議論を行った。理論面については、タネのコモンズ（Seed Commons）に関する既存研究のサーベイを中心に行った。フランスにおける在来品種のタネの維持管理システムの特徴や、タネのコモンズという概念の新規性に関する検討を行った。食農環境研究会を2回開催した。第1回は役畜農耕文化複合についてゲストから講演いただき、特に、牛耕からみた食農文化の継承について議論を行った。第2回は、これまでに調査してきた久留米市北野町の山汐菜を取り上げ、ゲストから話題提供を受け、他県の事例と比較しながら販路の特徴について検討した。以上と並行して、小規模な農地において、地域固有の作物が残存しやすい条件、東アジアの種子管理の在り方について、書籍の原稿として取りまとめ、その特徴を明らかにした。このように2021年度は研究、実践の両面を含む活動を行うことができた。
