项目摘要

吃音症（どもり症）は、流暢に話せない言語障害であり、幼児期に発症し、成人になっても1%の人口に吃音が残存しています。軽度の吃音であっても、悩みが深刻な場合があり、吃音のある人の悩みが過小評価される問題点が、教育・医療・福祉現場で存在しています。その悩みの可視化のため、本研究では成人の社交不安症に注目した研究を行っています。研究方法としては、日本の成人吃音者50名にLSAS、OASES-Aの質問紙を記入してもらうことで、社交不安症の重症度を評価する方法を取っています。LSASは24項目の状況について、「恐怖感／不安感」と「回避」の程度を0～3の4段階で評価、点数化し、総得点により社交不安症の重症度を評価することができます。144点満点のうち50点以上のLSASが、中等度の社交不安症と判断されます。OASES-Aは、成人吃音者が抱える困難に対して、100項目を5件法で回答する質問紙で、4つのセクションで数値化できます。「全般的な情報」「吃音へのあなたの反応」「日常の状況でのコミュニケーション」「生活の質」です。日本では、LSAS、OASES-Aの日本語版があり、妥当性と信頼性が検証されています。本研究の目標としている日本の成人吃音者の50名のデータを取得でき、今後、解析予定である。また、アメリカの精神科医師とこれらの結果について解析・討論し、成人吃音者への適切な支援法を開発する国際共同研究を行う予定である。渡米に関して、共同研究者の所属が異動されたために、当初の予定だった昨年の10月にはビザの取得が間に合わず延期となりました、渡航先とビザの取得に関する調整が完了し、2023年6月からアメリカのカリフォルニア州のCenExel-CITにて共同研究を行う予定である。
