项目摘要

2022年度は、特に本研究における学術的な問いの中でも、「諸外国ですでに提供型生殖医療で出生した人にドナー情報を開示している国や地域では、こうした当事者の情報をどのような組織がどのように管理して、どのようにその情報が当事者に開示されているか」という点に焦点を当て、研究をすすめた。具体的には、諸外国で、提供型生殖医療で出生した人にドナー情報の開示している地域のうち、オーストラリアのヴィクトリア州、ニューサウスウェールズ州、南オーストラリア州、西オーストラリア州の4州を中心に、ボランタリーレジストリ―について、文献を中心に、情報管理体制の在り方や情報登録、各管理機関の特徴や開示の仕方等を調査した。また、ヴィクトリア州については、Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority (通称VARTA）のInformation ＆Donor Registry Serviceチームを総括しているClaire McCole氏が11月に来日ししたため、McCole氏に会い、対面でインタビューを行い、特にヴィクトリア州のボランタリーレジストリ―の現状や課題について情報提供してもらった。また、調査の過程で、米国でも商業的ＤＮＡ検査の急速な普及もあり、提供型生殖医療で出生した人の出自を知る権利に対する関心が高まり、提供型生殖医療で生まれた人の出自を知る権利に関連する法律や、提供者情報の管理に関する法律の整備を行う州が増えてきていることを知り、米国の状況についても文献調査をすすめた。これらの研究で得た情報や成果等は、2022年11月に開催された日本生命倫理学会の年次大会の公募ワークショップ「出自を知る権利―国内外の動向から」で、「配偶子ドナーの匿名性の廃止：国外の動向」という題目で報告した。
