存在論的反自然主義の体系的理論としての多面説的多元論が存在論的自然主義に十分に対抗しうる妥当性を持つこと（詳しくは以下の前提★の下での仮説①～⑤）の論証を目的としている。前提★：哲学的理論の妥当性は方法論的自然主義の観点から評価されるべきである。仮説①：（前提★の下でも）存在論的反自然主義は十分に妥当性を持ちうる理論である。仮説②：存在論的反自然主義の体系的理論の一つとして、研究代表者が「多面説的多元論」と呼ぶ理論を構築し、擁護することができる。仮説③：多面説的多元論に適合する概念論として、研究代表者が「実践内在的概念論」と呼ぶ理論を構築し、擁護することができる。仮説④：多面説的多元論と実践内在的概念論の枠組みの中で、反自然主義的な道徳実在論の理論を構築し、擁護することができる。仮説⑤：多面説的多元論と実践内在的概念論の枠組みの中で、反自然主義的な命題的態度実在論の理論を構築し、擁護することができる。2022年度は研究実施計画に従い、以下の通り、研究を実施した。1)方法論的自然主義と存在論的自然主義および両者の関係に関する近年の議論をサーヴェイし、議論状況・争点を整理した。2)その上で、方法論的自然主義が妥当であることの論証を試み、その成果の一部を示す著書を執筆・刊行した。3)反自然主義的道徳実在論に関する近年の議論をサーヴェイし、議論状況・争点を整理した。4)Ｔ・ネーゲルやＪ・マクダウェルの哲学や「視点と世界の関係」に関する研究を参照しつつ、多面説的多元論の基本的な枠組みを構想した。5) 多面説的多元論の枠組みの中で、反自然主義的道徳実在論の理論を構築し、擁護することを試み、その成果を示す論文を執筆・刊行した。
