项目摘要

本研究は、８世紀インド、カシミール地方で活躍したダルモーッタラ（法上）による、仏教論理学の大成者ダルマキールティ（法称）の主著『知識論決択』に対する注釈書『知識論決択注』の第２章（推理論）後半部について、オーストリア科学アカデミーと中国蔵学研究中心との国際プロジェクトにおいて初めて利用可能となったサンスクリット語原典写本を使用し、原典テキスト公開とその解読を目指すものである。同時に、ダルモーッタラに大きな影響を与えたその師、バッタ・アルチャタ（８世紀）が、ダルマキールティ著『論証因一滴』に対して残した注釈書『論証因一滴注』も研究の対象としている。2022年度は、研究開始年度にあたり、『知識論決択注』及び『論証因一滴注』の原典写本について整理した。特に、『論証因一滴注』について、インド・グジャラート州のジャイナ教僧院において研究代表者が撮影した原典写本（パタン写本）について、欠落したフォリオなどを確認し、全体を整理した。さらに、インド・ベンガル州アジア協会の原典写本、ロンドンの王立アジア協会に保存されたホジソン・コレクションの原典写本について、上記パタン写本との重複箇所などを確認した。その上で、『論証因一滴注』の現行本（サンガヴィ師校訂本）の欠損箇所を優先して解読し、写本翻刻版を準備した。これらの成果は、2023年度の学術大会で発表することとしたい。また、科学研究費助成金を使用して、韓国・ソウル大学で開催された第19回国際仏教学会、韓国・東国大学校で開催された第６回国際ダルマキールティ学会に参加し、研究発表を行うとともに、本研究計画について国外の研究者と情報交換を行うことができた。
