ナチス時代およびその直後の時代のデュッセルドルフにおける、美術館、画廊、個人コレクターの「若きラインラント」作品売買と展覧会の変遷をたどる。これにより、各時代の芸術政策への美術館等の反応を明らかにし、彼らの作品がナチス時代とその直後でいかに扱われたのかを詳らかにすることが可能となる。令和4年度の研究（令和5年度まで継続）：「ナチス時代デュッセルドルフの美術館「若きラインラント」作品売買と展覧会」。本研究では、すでに入手している市立美術館（現デュッセルドルフ宮殿美術館）と市立博物館の作品売買リストや展覧会カタログ等の資料を精査し、「若きラインラント」の作品売買と展示の変遷をたどる。1. 美術館が購入した作品の特徴と、押収された作品・美術館が手放した作品の特徴を比較し、2. 各展覧会で展示された作品の特徴の変遷を分析し、美術館がナチスにいかに順応するに至ったか、一方でそれぞれの考えの違いを明らかにする。令和4年度には、市立美術館の当時の膨大な手書きの売買記録から、「若きラインラント」メンバーの売買記録を抜き出し、Exelに書き起こして整理する作業を行った。またデュッセルドルフ市立資料館に保管されている、ナチス時代に市立美術館館長を務めた、ハンス・ヴィルヘルム・フップに関する、同メンバーの作品売買についての書簡の調査を行った。これらの作業は令和5年度も継続中である。これらの調査から「若きラインラント」は前衛美術のグループとしてナチスに解体され、特に1937年には押収の対象となる作品が多かったとはいえ、全体としては市立美術館で329品もの作品が購入されていることが明らかとなった。その研究途中の報告として、令和4年12月に北海道ドイツ文学会で口頭発表「ナチス時代、デュッセルドルフ市立美術館の「若きラインラント」コレクションについて」を行った。
