本研究は、電子音響音楽の特殊性に基づき、再演に資するアーカイブの方法論を導き出す研究である。その特殊性とは、作品の制作環境や上演環境において、作品が制作された時代の音響技術が深く関わっていることが挙げられる。2022年度は、この技術的側面をアーカイブの実践をもとに調査・分析を進め、方法論確立の基礎となる具体的な知見を得ることができた。【アーカイブ手法の検討】電子音響音楽作品のアーカイブにおける実践的な手法を検討するために、作品における技術的側面の調査・分析を行った。調査対象として、1990年代から2000年代の作品を取り上げ、作品を制作した当事者から、作曲手法と音響技術における具体的な関連性や上演時の環境をヒアリングし、電子音響音楽作品の再演において必要な要素を時代背景と共に分析した。この調査により、電子音響音楽作品のアーカイブには、作品のスコア、記録物、使用された電子音響機器、上演環境の構築プロセスの4点を等しく扱う必要があることが確認された。特に、使用された電子音響機器と上演環境の構築プロセスについては、再演時には技術の置き換えが起こると仮定し、その視点から重点的にアーカイブ方法の検討を行った。この一連の調査、分析、方針について、1990年代の電子音響音楽に深く関わっていた作曲家を交えたシンポジウムを行い、様々な作曲家や関係者と意見を交換することができた。電子音響音楽作品の再演をテーマに議論する場は、これまで設けられたことがほとんどなく、現在直面している問題を共有する契機となり、参加者からは協力的な意見や問題を解決する方策など様々な意見が述べられ、本研究の意義が認識された。【アーカイブの実践】電子音響音楽に関するコンサートの資料を18点、時代背景や技術環境を考察する資料5点を、デジタルアーカイブした。
