2022年度は、宮本百合子の「乳房」（『中央公論』、1935年5月）を対象として、女性によって担われた社会運動の内実について検討し、国際シンポジウム「吼えろアジア」（2022年7月30-31日、於立命館大学）において発表した（「社会的再生産を可視化する　宮本百合子「乳房」におけるリアリズムと情動」）。無産者託児所を描いた「乳房」は、左翼運動のなかで周縁化されてきた社会的再生産領域を運動の内側に組み込むと同時に、ケアの倫理とつながる特質を抽出したことを、明らかにした。また「乳房」は、ソビエトで学んだ社会的再生産に関わる制度を日本に紹介してきた宮本百合子が、日本での実践を小説化したもので、その後ソビエトで翻訳されている。左翼文化運動における社会的再生産に関わる知見と実践が、ソビエトから日本へ、そしてまたソビエトへと、流通した事例としても注目した。また、理論的な問題点の検討のため、名古屋大学大学院人文学研究科附属超域文化社会センターと共催で、国際シンポジウム「ケアの倫理と人文学」（2023年1月28-29日、於名古屋大学）を共催した。ケアの倫理は、社会的再生産についての考察において、きわめて重要な理論的支柱となるものである。シンポジウムでは、先端的な研究者による多面的な報告により、多くの知見を得た。また、同シンポジウムで、近年注目が高まっているヤングケアラーの問題を取り上げ、現代女性作家がいかにケアを描いているかについて考察し、報告を行った（「関係の余白を広げる　現代女性作家が描くケア」）。ケアを実践する当事者が、問題の解消ではなく、いかにケアを持続していくかという問題に直面しているということを、小説を通して考察した。社会的再生産は持続的に実践することが不可欠であり、持続性という視点については1930年代の社会運動についても検討すべき課題として、次年度以降、考察を進める。
