2022年度は、調査対象であるロバート・ヴァン・フーリクの蔵書の調査、ヴァン・フーリク関連の研究書の翻訳、調査結果の学会での発表を行った。まず、ロバート・ヴァン・フーリクの蔵書の調査に関しては、2022年7-9月にオランダ・ライデン図書館のヴァン・フーリクコレクションの調査、2023年3月にアメリカ・ボストン大学図書館のヴァン・フーリクコレクションの調査を行った。ライデンでの調査では・ヴァン・フーリクの蔵書の全容を把握し、蔵書のカタログ作成に着手できた。ボストンでの調査は、ヴァン・フーリクの手稿を発見し、それらの全容を把握することができた。ボストンで入手できたデータは膨大であるため、2023年度に精査を続けていきたいと考えている。次に、ヴァン・フーリク関連の研究書の翻訳に関して、オランダ語で執筆された研究書の2本分の英語、日本語への翻訳を進めることができた。そのうち1本に関しては大部の著作物であるため、2023年度も引き続き、翻訳を行う予定である。さらには、2022年6月2日にイギリス・グラスゴーで行われたModern Language Associationでの学会発表、2023年3月16日にアメリカ・ボストンで行われたAssociation for Asian Studiesでの学会発表を行った。グラスゴーでの学会発表では、2021年度の予備調査の結果をまとめて発表した。ボストンでの学会発表は、2022年のライデンでの調査結果について発表した。また、以上の発表をもとに、論文の草稿を執筆した。この論文は2023年度中に学会誌に投稿予定である。
