项目摘要

2022年度においては、本研究課題にかかわる最も重要な文献である『水滸伝』についての研究を進め、主要テキストの完全な校勘と、容與堂本・金聖歎本の批評全訳を含む詳細な注釈、全文の翻訳、及び詳しい解説からなる著書『詳注全訳水滸伝』の制作を進め、第二巻と第三巻を刊行するとともに、第四巻の原稿をも完成させた。同書においては、『水滸伝』本文を詳細に読解し、原文のニュアンスを細部まで伝える訳文を附すとともに、本文の変遷を精密に跡づけることによって、刊行者・読者の両面から近代的読書が成立する過程を示し、更に批評の分析により、当時の読者の作品受容のあり方を明らかにしている。同書は大きな反響を呼び、これを読まずに『水滸伝』研究を行うことは困難になるつつあるという評価を得ている。あわせてこの訳注制作にかかわる講演を東京大学において実施した。更に、宋・金の演劇・芸能及び元代における歌謡である散曲の研究である鄭振鐸『中国俗文学史』第七章・第九章の詳細な注釈を伴う翻訳を行い、解題を附した。これらは白話文学の状況と、それらが知識人に受容される過程を詳細に論じるという点で、本研究課題と密接な関わりを持ち、また特に第九章で引用されている大量の散曲本文を日本語訳したことは、これまでに例のない規模の訳業という意味で画期的な意味を持ち、すぐれた白話文学作品を専門家以外の人が読める形で示すという点で、研究成果の社会への還元という面でも重要なものである。この翻訳は2023年度中に刊行される予定である。また、主催している敦煌変文研究会の成果として、共著論文『漢将王陵変文訳注』の（一）と（二）を『京都府立大学学術報告　人文』第74号と『和漢語文研究』第20号に発表した。これらは、初期白話文学作品の実態を解明するという点で、本課題と密接な関わりを持つものである。
